Having various options available, you can always ensure that you have replacements ready whenever the batteries run out. The average runtime is 1,000 continuous hours with lithium batteries, 600 continuous hours with alkaline batteries. On the other hand, EOTech XPS2 works with one 123 lithium battery. The battery life is about 600 hours for continuous usage. Each of the two models comes with 20 brightness settings, so they are suitable for any light condition.
